I scheduled an appointment with the infamous conceptual artist, Tom Marioni, to meet on July 17, 2002. Prior to our meeting, I realized that an appointment consisted not only of the actual meeting, but the preparation before that moment. To articulate this idea as a time-based art piece, I videotaped my motorcycle ride from my art studio to his studio by securing a video camera to my bike. Before our scheduled appointment, I arrived disguised as a messenger to deliver the videotape in order for him to view it. When I arrived as myself, he told me that he had watched the video. We then began our meeting.
